  • Venue: University of Chichester,
  • Dates: 2018
  • Volunteers: 20 volunteers to be divided in to Testers and Sample – do not apply if you have any history of head injury.
  • Duration: 2 hours maximum
  • Hypotheses: Is WBM reliable? Have CF skewed Inter/intra tester studies?

Expectations on the Day

All participants will be manually screened by the examiner and accepted or rejected from the Study. Removing volunteers who are found to have the following confounding variables: head injuries, incongruent biomechanics of the craniovertebral joints and upper thorax.

Please note: if you have a history of a head injury you will not be allowed to participate in this study.  Those volunteers who are accepted in to the study will need to wear shorts or leggings for the duration of the study.  For the first 45 minutes a series of Manual Musculoskeletal (MSK) tests will be conducted on you in quiet standing and lying down on a plinth/therapy couch. You will need to remain relaxed and to not resist nor help the Tester.

All volunteers must arrive 10 minutes before their allocated slot for the study to commence immediately.

Upon agreeing to volunteer for the study you will recieve a link to further information and paperwork that you will need to complete. All volunteers (Participants only) will need to complete and submit their Research Study paperwork online no later than 48 hours before the day of the study.

No expense’s can be paid for volunteers in this Study.
