One person in every 500 has Parkinson’s. That’s about 127,000 people in the UK. Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition where patients do not have enough of a chemical called dopamine because some nerve cells in their brain have died.

Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive, degenerative disorder that attacks the brain’s nerve cells, or neurons, resulting in loss of memory, thinking and language skills, and behavioral changes. What do we know helps to reduce our risk and improve symptoms? We shall discuss within this online module.
