Causality (also referred to as causation) is the relation between an event (the cause) and a second event (the effect), where the second event is understood as a physical consequence of the first. We spend up to two hours with you to complete a full-body intrinsic and extrinsic biomechanical and health screens, establishing any areas of mechanical or cellular weakness you may have. Generally, these screens tend to identify areas of dysfunction you may not always be aware of but may lead to pain or discomfort in other areas of your body.

Cells are the basic building blocks of all living things and your cells constantly communicate with each other, responding to your environment and to the signals they receive from what you touch and how you move. If your cells cannot operate efficiently, the functioning of your tissues and organs will become compromised, and you can experience a diminishment of physical functioning and the onset of a host of health conditions and diseases. We focus on cellular health to support your body staying young and healthy.
Ergonomics allow us to assess the way you sit in a chair, at your desk, or even in your car to ensure all the work we do together trying to eliminate your symptoms is not ‘undone’ as soon as you drive away from your appointment with us. We shall advise and arrange your environment to ensure you are able to interact most efficiently and safely without detriment to your progression.
The ‘Control’ part of your assessment is where we look at your control during movement i.e. standing, sitting, squatting, twisting etc. We begin to understand your personal story by working out if you have too much, too little, or poor control of movement and how these observations relate to your personal symptoms and goals – this allows us to identify ‘Primary Drivers’ to your symptoms.

The Bowen technique is not a form of massage but involves a series of rolling type moves at specific key points on the body where the focus is about assisting your body to restore function. This technique is not about treating your ‘tag’ it is about treating you – the person. The technique is very gentle and can be performed through light clothing, no oils or equipment is used.
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a form of bodywork or alternative therapy using gentle touch to palpate the synarthrodial joints of the cranium.
