We all can make a difference whether you live close to a beach, or not! Take action and get together with a handful of friends, neighbours or colleagues to organise your own Urban Beach Clean. I am calling on you to help improve the environment on our doorstep. We shall be collecting and safely disposing of single-use plastic from our beaches and waters -which degrades the beauty of our environment and threatens to harm wildlife – it is not acceptable.
Some of our best-loved marine wildlife is under threat from the waste and litter in our seas, with hundreds of species accidentally eating or becoming entangled in litter. It’s also dangerous for people and damaging to our tourism and fishing industries. We all have a part to play in turning the tide on litter. Join an event or organise your own and be part of the most influential fight against marine litter in the UK!
By filling out the form below, your upcoming Urban Beach Clean will be added to our army of volunteers. All kit will be provided on the day: Poole Council Environmental Department are sponsoring the bag hoops and pickers. Whale and Dolphin Conservation and sponsoring the collection bags, and a free t-shirt and tote bag for a prize draw. Marine Education are sponsoring the hi-vis vests and pickers. Finally, I am sponsoring the gloves, anti-bacterial gel and tea’s and coffees for the event.

We offer support in our clinic in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and several outreach locations to people suffering after-effects of the Balkan War.
We also work in the UK supporting Veterans, Serving personnel of the UK Armed Forces, and their families.
